About the Role
The Airworthiness Support Engineer is an entry-level position within the Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO). This role is ideal for individuals with a background in aircraft maintenance or a recent graduate in a related field, offering an opportunity to develop expertise in airworthiness management.
Work Authorisation: Candidates must have current legal authorisation to work and travel in the EU.
Key Responsabilities
● Perform continuing airworthiness management tasks under the guidance of a senior Airworthiness Engineer
● Assist in the implementation and monitoring of safety management systems, ensuring strict adherence to STS CAME policies and procedures
● Contribute to maintaining airworthiness standards, ensuring all documentation and compliance records are accurate and up-to-date
Essential Skills
● Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
● Eagerness to learn and contribute positively to the CAMO team
● Proficient in computer skills, with essential knowledge of MS Excel
● Ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic and regulated work environment
Requirements
● A third-level degree in a relevant field, or
● A Part 66 Aircraft Maintenance Licence, or
● A minimum of six months of experience in aircraft maintenance or continuing airworthiness is preferred
● Candidates must have a current legal authorisation to work in the EU
