About the Role

Shannon Technical Services Singapore is seeking an ambitious Technical Services Manager (TSM) to
join our rapidly growing team. Reporting to the Head of Technical Projects, you will lead a hybrid
team of on-site and remote specialists, ensuring all operations meet strict aircraft regulatory
requirements and company standards. This is a key management role responsible for driving team
performance and maintaining excellence across our technical services and global projects.

 

Work Authorisation: Candidates must have current legal authorisation to work and travel in Singapore and Asia Region.

 

Core Responsibilities:

  • Project Lifecycle Management: Lead aircraft redeliveries, repossessions, and asset transfers, ensuring all deliverables, timelines, and technical documentation requirements are met.
  • Financial & Operational Oversight: Manage project costs via live trackers, maintain the Hub Dashboard, and optimise consultant structures for cost-effectiveness.
  • Stakeholder & Customer Relations: Act as the primary technical liaison for customers and stakeholders, resolving issues proactively and reporting progress to the Leadership Team.
  • Technical Compliance & QA: Monitor lease provisions, perform QA inspections on record builds, and ensure strict adherence to FAA/EASA regulatory standards.
  • Strategic Leadership: Manage and appraise on-site and remote technical teams, implement operational strategies, and deputise for the Head of Technical Projects as required.
  • Data Analysis: Deconstruct third-party contracts and analyse engine/aircraft performance data to drive technical solutions and process improvements.

Professional Qualifications & Technical Expertise

  • Engine Specialist: 5+ years of experience as a Technical Service Engineer focusing on major engine families (LEAP, CFM56, RB211, Trent 700, CF6-80, PW4000).
  • Systems Knowledge: Deep understanding of aircraft engine systems, performance data analysis, maintenance programs, and FAA/EASA regulations.
  • Asset Management: Proven experience in the transition, trading, and technical review of airframes and engines.
  • Management: Strong track record in people management and leading technical teams.
  • Software Proficiency: Expert in MS Office (advanced Excel/Project) and industry-specific systems such as AMOS or TRAX.
  • Education: Degree in Engineering or Aviation (or equivalent technical qualification) with a strong background in people management and high-level stakeholder relations.

  • Technical Literacy: Ability to interpret complex aircraft lease language and apply sound technical and numerical judgement.
  • Project Leadership: Strong organisational and project management skills with a flexible, high-standard approach.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills, with the ability to manage diverse stakeholder relationships professionally.
  • Soft Skills: A proactive, customer-focused team player with strong problem-solving abilities and computer literacy.
