About the Role
Shannon Technical Services (STS) is a global aviation technical services leader, providing a
comprehensive portfolio of solutions to worldwide aircraft leasing companies and airlines. We are
currently in the process of establishing a Part 145 Maintenance Organisation to provide borescope
services to our customers worldwide and are seeking a highly experienced and decisive leader to fill
the role of P145 Maintenance Manager. The role will be in a part time capacity at our headquarters
in Shannon. This pivotal position requires proven expertise in regulatory compliance and operational
management. The successful candidate will be responsible for the oversight, leadership, and efficient
execution of all maintenance activities under EASA Part-145 regulations. If you are ready to drive

Work Authorisation: Candidates must have current legal authorisation to work and travel in the EU.
Duties & Responsibilities:
● Serve as the EASA Part 145 nominated post holder for maintenance with the competent authority.
● Ensure full compliance with EASA Part 145, and Part 66 requirements.
● Lead the setup and implementation of the Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE) and associated Forms and procedures.
● Support the initial application/approval and audit process with the IAA and maintain continued compliance thereafter.
● Coordinate with Quality and Compliance departments during audits, corrective actions, and surveillance activities.
Maintenance Operations:
● Manage all BSI activities ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective operations.
● Establish and oversee maintenance procedures, resource planning, work scheduling, and technical documentation control.
● Ensure all maintenance is performed in accordance with approved data and company procedures.
● Oversee defect rectification, deferred defect control, and maintenance record accuracy.
● Ensure maintenance staff are appropriately qualified, authorised, and trained.
Qualifications
● Minimum 5 years’ experience in civil aircraft maintenance, of which at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
● Comprehensive knowledge of EASA Part-145, Part-66 requirements.
● A knowledge of EASA Safety management systems and compliance monitoring.
● Technical knowledge of at least some of the organisation’s capability list (CFM56-Series, V2500-Series, LEAPSeries,PW100-Series, CF34-1/3-Series, CF6, GE90, PW4000-Series, PW1100, Trent 500/700/800/900-Series,RB211-Series, BR700-Series, APU: 131 9A/B, APS2000/2300, Honeywell 331-Series, RE220-Series,PW980A).
● Part-66 B1 licence desirable but not mandatory (equivalent engineering qualifications and industry experience acceptable).
Competence Demonstration
The nominee for Maintenance Manager will provide evidence of:
● Detailed CV showing maintenance background and supervisory experience.
● Records of training in EASA Part-145, Human Factors, and SMS.
● Previous roles managing engine inspections, field services, or technical teams (Preferably).
● Familiarity with IAA regulatory processes and audits.
● Interview readiness to demonstrate knowledge to the IAA.
