About the Role
Shannon Technical Services (STS) is an independent aviation technical services company supporting aircraft owners, lessors, airlines and MRO organisations worldwide. We provide a comprehensive range of technical services throughout the aircraft lifecycle, including aircraft inspections, lease transitions, technical records management, CAMO support, project management and engineering services.
As our business continues to grow, we are seeking a Technical Analyst to join our Technical Services team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work across a broad range of aircraft programmes, supporting technical projects from planning through to completion while developing expertise across aircraft records, inspections, data management and project coordination.
The Opportunity
● Work on a diverse portfolio of commercial aircraft projects supporting leading airlines, aircraft lessors and aviation organisations.

● Support experienced Technical Managers and Project Managers across multiple international projects.
● Develop expertise in aircraft technical documentation, maintenance compliance and data analysis.

Key Responsibilities
Mid-Lease Audit Support
● Coordinate documentation and project requirements for aircraft mid-lease inspections.
● Assist Technical Managers with planning inspection activities and customer deliverables.
● Review inspection findings and support the preparation of technical reports.
● Track findings and ensure actions are completed within agreed timelines.
● Coordinate communication between inspectors, customers and project teams.
Technical Records Management
● Review aircraft technical records for completeness, accuracy and regulatory compliance.
● Organise and maintain digital aircraft records and documentation.
● Support aircraft records audits and data verification activities.
● Identify missing or incomplete documentation and coordinate resolution.
● Assist with records reviews supporting aircraft deliveries, returns and lease transitions.
Technical Data Management
● Maintain aircraft technical information across internal systems and customer databases.
● Analyse aircraft maintenance data and prepare technical summaries.
● Produce customer reports and operational dashboards.
● Monitor project documentation and maintain accurate technical records.
● Support continuous improvement of data management processes and reporting tools.
Project Coordination
● Provide administrative and technical support across multiple concurrent projects.
● Monitor project schedules, milestones and deliverables.
● Prepare meeting minutes, action trackers and project reports.
● Coordinate activities between customers, consultants and internal departments.
● Support the successful delivery of technical projects within agreed timelines.
General
● Maintain high standards of quality, confidentiality and professionalism.
● Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the Technical Services department.
● Undertake additional duties appropriate to the role.
Skills & Experience
Required
● Degree, diploma or equivalent qualification in Aerospace Engineering, Aviation Management or a related discipline, or equivalent aviation industry experience.
● Experience within commercial aviation, aircraft leasing, airline engineering, CAMO, MRO or aircraft technical services.
● Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
● Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
● High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
● Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Desirable
● Experience reviewing aircraft technical records.
● Experience supporting aircraft transitions or inspections.
● Familiarity with aircraft records management systems, particularly ATS
